The calculation method for the maximum number of guests in a room is determined by the Hotel Business Act Enforcement Regulations, and it is prohibited by law to exceed the maximum number of guests. At Piece Hostel Sanjo, a maximum of two people, including children (from 0 years old), can stay in a double or twin room, and a maximum of three people, including children (from 0 years old), can stay in a triple room. Please be aware of this when making your reservation.

On our ROOMS page, rooms labeled “Shared shower and toilet” do not have these amenities inside the room. Instead, shared showers and toilets are located on the basement floor of both our EAST and WEST buildings. Additionally, large bathtubs are available for use. All of these facilities are open 24 hours a day.

All rooms (double, twin, triple, and family) are equipped with hair dryers.
Rooms with a shower also provide shampoo, conditioner, and body soap.
Shared shower rooms include these amenities as well.
Powder rooms next to the shower rooms are equipped with hair dryers.
Additional pillows are available for free on the shelves beside the elevators (on floors 2F to 5F).
Slippers can be found in the shelf drawers—help yourself at any time.
Used bath towels can be exchanged for new ones at the towel station near the front desk.
In the dormitories, each guest has access to a personal safe to store valuables.
Safe dimensions: 43x29x19 cm.
Safes are secured with a PIN, so no padlock is required.
All private rooms (except the quadruple dormitory room) are equipped with a small refrigerator.

We offer the following items for loan: hair irons, electric tea kettles, umbrellas, humidifiers, shoe dryers, mini-tables, and chairs. Additionally, we can provide travel adapters and chargers for a deposit of ¥1,000 JPY. Your deposit will be refunded once the adapter and/or charger is returned.

Toothbrushes, razors, and mineral water are available for purchase at ¥100 JPY each.

We have one wheelchair accessible room.
There is a slight step for the shower in said room.
We also have accessible shower facilities on the basement floor of both our EAST and WEST building.

Free Wi-Fi is provided in both our EAST and WEST buildings.

We have a non-smoking policy indoors, including electronic cigarettes and vapes.
A ￥30,000 JPY fine will be imposed on any guest who smokes indoors.
If you would like to smoke, please use the basement outdoor terrace, which is open 24 hours a day.
Smoking is also permitted on our or on the rooftop terrace, which is open from 8:00 am to midnight.

We do not have a curfew, but for security reasons, the automatic door at the EAST building will be locked from 11:00 pm to 8:00 am. To open the door during this time, scan your room keycard on the black sensor located on the wall next to the entrance.
In the WEST building, the front automatic black doors remain open at all times. However, the inner doors to the common areas are locked 24 hours a day. To access these areas, please use your room keycard.

We have a laundry room on the basement floor of both our EAST and WEST buildings.
The laundry machines cost ￥500 JPY for one 30 minute cycle. Detergent is automatically dispensed in the machines.
The dryers cost ￥100 JPY per 10 minutes.
Both laundry rooms are open 24 hours a day.

We do not have parking available for guest bicycles, cars, or other motorized vehicles. Please use nearby coin-operated parking, but note that parking rates in the area are generally high. Use these services at your own discretion, as we do not offer special coupons or tickets for local parking.
